Exploring SICC
Banquet
Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Cluster
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
Classroom
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Booth Capacity
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Cocktail
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
U-shape

The complex offers three interconnected Kinabatangan Exhibition Halls with direct access to the loading docks and storage rooms. The exhibition halls encompass a flexible event space of 5,177 square metres (55,270 sqft), which can accommodate up to 280 exhibition booths. Opposite the spacious Kinabatangan Foyer are six separate meeting rooms of various sizes, in addition to a private VVIP lounge.

Level 3
The main entrance to the Convention Centre leads directly into the Jesselton Square, a vibrant outdoor plaza set against the stunning backdrop of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and the South China Sea.
This versatile space is perfect for open-air concerts, exhibitions, and events. With a capacity to accommodate crowds of over 7,000 people, Jesselton Square offers a dynamic and engaging environment for a wide range of activities.

Level 4
The spacious, column-free convention halls at Sabah International Convention Centre are equipped with a retractable partition system, allowing the space to be divided into three distinct sections. Each hall boasts an impressive 15-metre-high ceiling adorned with stunning crystal chandeliers, complemented by advanced audio-visual equipment and full conference facilities. A pre-function area seamlessly transitions into a reception space, accommodating up to 1,500 delegates.

Level 5
The top floor of the complex features 12 centrally located meeting rooms, ranging in size from 32 to 223 square metres, along with an executive meeting suite. Each room is equipped with essential meeting amenities and audio-visual presentation aids.
